What is HKNVE? | ||

The Hong Kong Network of Virtual Enterprise (HKNVE), formerly the Hong Kong Network of Practice Firms (HKNPF), is a network of simulated businesses (Virtual Enterprises) in a virtual economy that is hosted by education and training institutions throughout Hong Kong. It is a project undertaken since 1999 by the Department of Business Services and Management, formerly the Department of Business Administration, of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Tsing Yi), under the Vocational Training Council, with support from the Quality Education Fund (QEF) and the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The purpose is to develop a Network of Virtual Enterprises among secondary/commercial schools and tertiary institutes in Hong Kong. The Virtual Enterprise network development is endorsed by APEC Human Resources Development to which the Hong Kong SAR Government is one of the members endorsing the project. HKNVE's Objectives:
