7th June Seminar on Enterprise Education
創新教育面面觀

A Lunch Seminar on Enterprise Education, organized by Hong Kong Network of Virtual Enterprises (HKNVE), was held on 7 June 2005. This event was supported by the Rotary club and the Hong Kong Youth Institute.

Over 90 attendees attended the seminar including secondary school principals/educators, Rotarians and staff from the Vocational Training Council and the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education.

The aims of the seminar were to provide opportunities for participants to exchange views and to explore collaboration possibilities.

It was an honour to have two distinguished speakers at the seminar. Professor Tam Man Kwan, is a veteran educator. He is an Adjunct professor in the Faculty of Education at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, President of the Hong Kong Private School Association; Principal of Pak Kau College and Pak U Middle School. Mr. Peter Wan, District Governor Elect of the Rotary International District 3450, Hong Kong, Macau & Mongolia. Participants told us that they had found the seminar informative and useful.

At the request of some principals, we have posted the speeches of Professor Tam and Mr. Peter Wan onto this website. In addition, you may also find information about the Rotary Youth Exchange Program.

HKNVE aims to play a role in facilitating the development of enterprise education in Hong Kong because we believe that Virtual Enterprise is an effective way in helping students to develop essential business and life skills.

The hope for our future society to stay competitive and prosperous depends on the successful development of our younger generation. We certainly look forward to collaborating with secondary schools in nurturing more young talents and we hope that you will continue to be interested.
