Mrs. Fanny Law, Secretary for Education and Manpower, attended the CEED opening-cum-VTC 20th Anniversary kick-off ceremony on 11th January, 2002, held at IVE - Tsing Yi. This event also marked the official opening of HKNVE's Central Office and the VE Model Office which are located within CEED.
During her keynote speech, Mrs. Law remarked that "ˇKThrough running virtual enterprises, students are able to grasp the intricacies of doing business. They are given a chance to acquire key skills in teamwork, critical thinking, communication, and to apply information technology. These experiences are conducive to realizing one's potential and creativity, as well as being beneficial to learning and one's future jobs. Students should make good use of this opportunityˇK"
Inauguration of the Centre for Enterprise Education & Development and unveiling of the Commemorative Plaques were officiated by Mrs. Fanny LAW, Secretary for Education and Manpower, Mr. William Y.
