A meeting session with faculty of Shenzhen Polytechnic

Ms. Donna Reid of the Australian Network of Enterprises made a visit to the Shenzhen Polytechnic in the company of Mitzi Leung, Joe Chan and Irene Ho of HKNVE. The Hong Kong team was met at the Lowu border by Prof. Dou, Head of Management Dept., Mr. Ying and Ms Zhou of the Shenzhen Polytechnic (SP). Upon arrival at SP, our team was met by 7 VE students. Ms Reid spoke to the students to find out the work undertaken in their respective VE's. Later on, Ms. Reid was ushered to the computer room where students made presentations and demonstrated their website. Ms. Reid was duly impressed by the work undertaken by the students and congratulated the facilitators for the great progress that was made within a period of two months.
At noon, our hosts treated us to a sumptuous luncheon which was followed by a meeting. The faculty from SP expressed great appreciation for this innovative form of enterprise education and indicated that they would expand this programme so that all students of management studies would operate VE's in the coming academic year.
