VE Grand Opening at YCH Tung Chi Ying Memorial Secondary School

On 11 May, 2002, Creative Ad Maker VE held its Grand Opening. It was a great occasion. Around 10:30 am, the HR department organized the reception team. The students along with their School Principal Mr. Yeung met visitors at the school entrance. The Opening Ceremony began at 11 am. First of all, the CEO of Creative Ad Maker welcomed the honoured guests. The audience applauded when the students explained that they made a 30% profit in the Chinese New Year sale, simply by following the concepts of how to run a VE. When Mr.s. Irene Ho of HKNVE was invited to speak, she related her experience in the United Arab Emirates where she witnessed a team of American education experts putting in place the VE concept as part of that country's technical education reform. Mrs. Ho concluded that the VE teaching and learning strategy must be the most effective contemporary learning framework in business education abroad, and pursuaded teachers and students who have already adopted this learning, to spread this concept to other schools. Miss Anita Tang, a director of Yan Chai Hospital delivered a thank you note, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony. After the ceremony, the visitors had a chance to talk to students who presented the various tasks undertaken by the VE such as design, website, business plan, and they also explained how their various departments were organized. Creative Ad Maker VE is very well managed and the students handled visitors in the most professional manner. The following are some photos taken during the occasion.
