Mr. T. P. Wong, Head of Department of Business Services and Management, IVE (Morrison Hill) organized the HKNVE Forum on 10 October, 2002 at 3 – 5 pm.

The Forum was very successful with a high turnout rate and animated discussions. There were about 30 participants, including colleagues from different IVE campuses, as well as two teachers from TWGHs Yow Kam Yuen College.

Mr. T.P. Wong welcomed the participants and explained the objectives of the Forum, which are to give an update on the current development and support services, future development and activities of HKNVE; and the sharing and exchange of ideas and good practices by IVE VE facilitators and IVE lecturers who are interested in the VE model.

Mrs. Irene Lau briefed the Forum on the new services provided by HKNVE, such as Trading with Australia and the VE Support Services Package; while Mr. Chris Sung walked through the new On-line VE registration System and New Members Area, answering questions and noting down feedback and suggestions from the participants.

Mrs. Elaine Wong acted as moderator on the sharing of good practices; while Miss Judy Ng led the discussion on training needs of VE Facilitators. Mrs. Mitzi Leung briefed the Forum on the planning of the International Trade Fair to be held in November 2003, inviting all the campuses to join. Finally Mr. Wong thanked the Forum for their time and contribution.
