Hotung Secondary School visited HKNVE Central Office

On 6 November 2002 (Wed), Mr. Vincent Cheng from Hotung Secondary School, together with six students, visited HKNVE Central Office. The visit began with an introduction of the online VE registration procedures by Mr. Chris Sung, Project Assistant of the HKNVE Central Office. Chris also covered features of the Members Area of the HKNVE’s website and explained issues about e-Banking and trading among VEs.

The business mentor of Hotung Secondary School, Mr. Cheung Hon Wan of VA Consultants Limited, also joined the visit. During the meeting, Mrs. Irene Lau, Manager of the HKNVE Central Office, introduced the VE concept, roles and services of the Central Office. Mrs. Elaine Wong, Senior Lecturer of Department of Business Services and Management at IVE (Morrison Hill), gave examples of how VEs are operated by students in different schools. Mrs. Wong also explained the role of a business mentor and the benefits of mentorship. Finally, a visit was made to the Virtual Enterprise Office, where IVE students operate their VEs and execute project tasks.

何東中學探訪香港實習企業網絡中央辦事處

二零零二年十一月六日(星期三)，何東中學莊允迅老師帶同六位學生探訪香港實習企業網絡中央辦事處。首先由中央辦事處的項目助理宋勇先生介紹如何在網上辦理實習企業登記手續，同時亦簡介了香港實習企業網絡網站內會員專區的功能及講解了有關網上銀行及實習企業之間進行貿易的詳情。

何東中學的商業夥伴鐵化拓展顧問有限公司的張漢雲先生亦參與了是次探訪活動。會議中，香港實習企業網絡中央辦事處經理劉容潔蓮女士介紹實習企業的概念、中央辦事處的角色及服務；並由香港專業教育學院(摩理臣山分校)工商服務及管理學系高級講師鄭綺玲女士講解多間中學的學生運作實習企業的例子及作為商業夥伴的角色及好處。最後，大家還參觀了實習企業辦公室，即香港專業教育學院學生日常運作實習企業及執行有關工作的地方。
