Teacher representatives from five secondary schools participated in the Briefing Session on Virtual Enterprise Project 02-03 on 7 Nov 02 (Thu). Mr. T.P. Wong, Head of Department of Business Services and Management (BSM) of IVE (Morrison Hill), gave a welcome address to the participants. Mrs. Irene Lau, Manager of the HKNVE Central Office, introduced the VE concept, role of the Central Office and its services. Mr. Joe Chan, Lecturer of BSM of IVE (Morrison Hill), talked about issues on trading, e-Banking and web platform while Mrs. Elaine Wong, Senior Lecturer of BSM of IVE (Morrison Hill), explained how to incorporate VE concept in secondary schools with illustration of real examples.
The second half of the briefing session took place in the Virtual Enterprise Office, where a BSM student, Kevin Mak, gave a presentation to briefly introduce how the VE concept is implemented in the curriculum of IVE and roles of students in the VE project. This was followed by a Q&A and sharing session. The meeting shared views and experiences on VE and discussed issues about funding. The session ended with Mrs. Irene Lau’s conclusion and note of thanks to all participants.
二零零二年十一月七日(星期四)，來自五間中學的教師代表參加了實習企業02-03中學教師簡介會。香港專業教育學院(摩理臣山分校)工商服務及管理學系主任黃增白先生首先向各參加者致歡迎辭，接著由香港實習企業網絡中央辦事處經理劉容潔蓮女士介紹實習企業概念、中央辦事處的角色及服務；工商服務及管理學系講師陳增源先生講解有關貿易、網上銀行及網上平台的事項；及由高級講師鄭綺玲女士引用例子，講解如何在中學內應用實習企業的概念。
簡介會的下半部在實習企業辦公室舉行，首先由工商服務及管理學系學生代表麥啟文同學作簡報，介紹如何在香港專業教育學院的課程中實踐實習企業概念及學生在計劃中擔當的角色。接著是問答及分享環節，各人交換對實習企業的意見、經驗及討論有關申請撥款的事宜，最後由劉容潔蓮女士作總結及向各參加者致謝。
