Hotung Secondary School has just joined the HKNVE as a network member. Hotung Secondary School, pioneer of the Millennium Entrepreneur Programme, has long been very active in enterprise education. Their students have now embraced the opportunity to learn and broaden their entrepreneur skills, IT skills and people skills through the implementation of the virtual enterprise concept.
On 21 Nov 2002, Mrs. Irene Lau, Manager, Ms. Helen Wong, Project Consultant, and Miss Vivien Kam, Project Assistant, of HKNVE visited Mr. Vincent Cheng and Mrs. Ling at Hotung Secondary School. During the visit, Mrs. Irene Lau explained different ways of embedding the VE learning model in the traditional curriculum and extra-curricular activities in secondary schools. Mrs. Lau also introduced the VE practices of IVE and showcased sample product catalogues, promotion leaflets and business plans produced by IVE students.
Ms. Helen Wong introduced three modules of the web-based Integrated Accounting Information System, being developed for VEs of secondary schools. The modules include General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Detailed discussion was held with Mrs. Ling on the modules. HKNVE would like to thank Mrs. Ling and Mr. Vincent Cheng for their valuable feedback and ideas.
歡迎何東中學加入香港實習企業網絡
何東中學最近正式成為香港實習企業網絡的成員之一。作為千禧企業家精神計劃的發起團體，何東中學一向致力推動企業教育。今次，藉著引入實習企業的概念，何東中學的學生更有機會學習成為企業家的必備技巧。
二零零二年十一月二十一日，香港實習企業網絡中央辦事處經理劉容潔蓮女士、顧問黃舜敏女士及助理甘詠恩小姐到訪何東中學，與莊允迅老師、林太及鄭老師會面。會面期間，劉容潔蓮女士講解在傳統中學課程及課外活動中注入實習企業學習模式的不同方法，此外亦介紹了香港專業教育學院如何運用實習企業模式教學，更展示了香港專業教育學院學生製作的產品目錄、宣傳單張及業務計劃書的樣本。
接著，黃舜敏女士介紹一套特別為中學實習企業設計的網上綜合會計資訊系統，系統由三部份組成，包括總賬、應付賬款及應收賬款。黃女士還與林太就系統的內容展開了詳細的討論，香港實習企業網絡在此特別鳴謝莊老師和林太的寶貴意見。
