The new academic year has started for few months. Students from secondary schools and IVE campuses are getting ready to register their VEs with the HKNVE. To let our members from secondary schools understand more about how to implement the VE learning model, the HKNVE Central Office organized the Orientation Workshop for Virtual Enterprises 2003-04 on 14 Nov 2003 (Fri).
The Workshop gathered more than 20 teachers and students from 10 secondary schools at the Virtual Enterprise Office of IVE (Morrison Hill), creating an invaluable occasion for us to meet with our counterparts after running their VEs for the last academic year. On the other hand, it was also encouraging to see some new faces joining the Network this academic year.
The Workshop covered the following topics:
1. Running a VE
2. How to register your VE?
3. Online Resources, Accounting Information System (AIS) and e-Banking System
4. How to get a Business Mentor?
5. HKNVE Central Office and its Service Package
6. How to trade with other VEs?
7. 2004 Hong Kong International Trade Fair and Conference for VEs
Finally, facilitators shared experience of last year and exchanged opinions for improvement. They were eager to take part in the coming activities. Some even showed their support by making prompt registration for the 2004 Hong Kong International Trade Fair and Conference for VEs, to be held on 18-21 Mar 2004.
