On 20 Dec 2003, over 250 audiences gathered at the Assembly Hall of IVE (Morrison Hill) for the business talk on "Driven to Revolt". Two speakers, including Mr. Shih Wing Ching, Managing Director of the Centaline Property Agency Limited and Mr. Peter Lee, Director of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong and Vice President of the Lombard Investments Inc., shared their views on entrepreneurship.
Mr. Shih talked about his past experience as a trainee in a property company to encourage young people. He emphasized the importance of having a right work attitude and being detail-minded. Mr. Lee then shared his opinions on how to be a successful entrepreneur. He continued to present the two Travel Scholarships, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hong Kong, to the Overall Champions of the Virtual Enterprise Competition 2003.
Other honourable guests including Mr. Joseph Lee, Managing Director of the Wofoo Plastics & Chemicals Group and Ms Beatrice Lee, Assistant Manager (E-Commerce) of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council also presented some of the awards.
Finally, the two Overall Champions shared their experience in participating in the Fifth California Virtual Enterprise Trade Fair "Business Beyond Belief" held in early December.
