A briefing session on the Virtual Enterprise project was held on Saturday 13 October, 2001 at the Centre for Enterprise Education & Development of IVE, Tsing Yi. Among the audience were school teachers, youth workers and students from Virtual Enteprises. The session commenced with an introduction on how to incorporate the Virtual Enterprise concept in teaching and learning. It was followed by an explanation of the functions of the Central Office and the virtual e-bank infrastructure. Schools wishing to establish virtual enterprises also had the opportunity to apply for QEF funding to set up and equip a model office within the school. At the end of the briefing, experienced pilot schools facilitators briefed new comers on their experience in establishing Virtual Enterprises, and how this model of learning enhances students' motivation and self-learning.
